Joshua is a bassist, educator, and multi-instrumentalist based in Seattle. Growing up in a household where a stereo was always playing, his fascination with sound and rhythm began at an early age. Joshua’s artistic vision blends his love of jazz, orchestral music, and music education with a lifelong appreciation for skateboarding culture and street art.
Joshua is currently pursuing a degree in Jazz Studies at the University of Washington School of Music, where he studies with Steven Rodby. His previous instructors include Jordan Anderson of the Seattle Symphony and Susan Hagen of the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra. An honors graduate of Bunker Hill Community College, Joshua has also attended the Berklee College of Music annual Groove Workshop, and was featured as an accompanist for Night of Ideas: Boston, a national production presented by
