Joshua is a bassist, educator, and multi-instrumentalist based in Seattle. Growing up in a household where a stereo was always playing, his fascination with sound and rhythm began at an early age. Joshua’s artistic vision blends his love of jazz, orchestral music, and music education with a lifelong appreciation for skateboarding culture and street art.
Joshua is currently studying at the University of Washington School of Music, where he is a student of Jordan Anderson, Principal Double Bass of the Seattle Symphony. He has also studied under the guidance of Susan Hagen of the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, and is an honors graduate of Bunker Hill Community College. Additionally, Joshua has attended the annual Berklee College of Music Groove Workshop and has been a featured accompanist for the national production Night of Ideas: Boston, presented by Harvard University.
