Joshua is a bassist, educator, and multi-instrumentalist based in Seattle. Growing up in a household where a stereo was always playing, his fascination with sound and rhythm began at an early age. Joshua’s artistic vision blends his love of jazz, orchestral music, and music education with a lifelong appreciation for skateboarding culture and street art.
Joshua is currently completing a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a focus on Double Bass Performance at the University of Washington School of Music, where he is a student of Jordan Anderson and Steven Rodby. He previously studied under the guidance of Susan Hagen of the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, and is an honors graduate of Bunker Hill Community College. Additionally, Joshua has attended the Berklee College of Music annual Groove Workshop, and was featured as an accompanist for Night of Ideas: Boston, a national production presented by Harvard University.
